GENERAL INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in McClelland House! We have provided the below information to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

BOOKING + RESERVATIONS

RESERVATION CHANGES

We are happy to accommodate changes to your itinerary up to 14 days prior to the original date
of check in. Please contact us at +1 (707) 256 5969 and we will be happy to assist you. If you
reserved your stay through a booking engine (such as Expedia, Travelocity, or Booking.com),
we are unable to facilitate changes to reservations made through third party sites. Please visit
third party sites directly to alter your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Life happens. We get that. Reservations that are cancelled 14 or more days prior to the first day
of check in will receive a full refund (less a $25 processing fee). Reservations cancelled within
14 days prior to check in are non-refundable, but funds may be credited towards a future stay of
equal or lesser value. To cancel a reservation, please call the concierge at +1 (707) 256 5969.
Cancellations received after 3pm the day before check in will not be refunded or credited, and
will be charged in full.


CANCELLATION FOR GROUP BOOKINGS + BUYOUTS


Group bookings and whole-hotel buyouts are subject to a 30-day cancellation policy if a full
refund is desired. Reservations of three or more rooms at McClelland House constitutes a group
booking.


PAYMENT


The full amount of the reservation total is due at time of booking. Your total includes all local and
state taxes, and we do not assess additional resort fees for the amenities included with your
room. We accept all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX). Additional room
charges made during your stay may be paid by cash or credit card upon check out. Sorry, no
checks.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

We ask that guests who intend to pay for all or part of their stay with a gift certificate please call
the hotel at +1 (707) 256 5969 to book with us directly.

ADA ACCESSIBILITY


McClelland House is committed to providing an excellent experience for all guests, including
those with vision, hearing, or physical disabilities. Please contact us at +1 (707) 256 5969 if you
have any difficulty with our website, and we will be happy to assist you.


ADDITIONAL GUESTS


All rooms at McClelland House are priced to accommodate two guests. The Carriage house
suite can accommodate up to four guests, with an additional per person, per night fee of $50 for
those over age 18 and $25 for children under 17. Children under age 5 stay for free. Please
contact us at +1 (707) 256 5969 in advance of your stay to notify us about additional guests.


CHILDREN


Families traveling with children are asked to book the Carriage House suite, which can
accommodate up to two children. A bassinet can be provided upon request. Out of respect for
couples on romantic holiday at McClelland House, children are not permitted in our other suites.
Kids may not be left unattended in hotel rooms or common areas at any time. Should you need
a childcare service, please contact us +1 (707) 256 5969 are we will be happy to assist.


PETS


Are we pet friendly? You bet! Up to two pets under 50 lbs. are permitted in our Carriage House
suite for an additional fee of $50 per night, per pet. We ask that all four-legged guests do their
business in the designated area and stay on a leash when outside the room. In accordance with
health department rules and out of respect for guests with allergies, pets are not permitted in
indoor public spaces (service animals are exempt). Pets may not be left unattended in rooms at
any time.


A $200 pet deposit is required in the form of a credit card pre-authorization. Should your pet
shed a great amount or have an accident in the room, a $200 cleaning fee will be charged to the
credit card on file. We reserve the right to charge an incidental fee for any property damage
caused by your pet. All remaining funds from the pre-authorized amount will be released after
check out and, dependent upon your bank’s policy, will reflect on your account within 10
business days. Sorry, no exotic animals or venomous creatures allowed.


CHECKING IN + CHECKING OUT


IDENTIFICATION + CREDIT CARD


Guests will be asked to present valid photo identification at time of check in. We ask that the
name on your provided identification match both the name on your reservation, and the credit
card used at time of booking. We require that a credit card be kept on file for the duration of
your stay to cover any additional purchases.

CHECK IN: 3PM | CHECK OUT: 11AM


We ask that guests checking in after 5pm PT contact the concierge at +1 (707) 256 5969 at
least 24 hours in advance of arrival to arrange for check in with our overnight innkeeper. If you
require late check out, please contact our General Manager at least 24 hours in advance of your
departure date to inquire about availability. We are happy to hold your bags if you plan to depart
Napa after the check out time. If checking out before 9:00am, please call or text +1 (707) 256
5969 or email giselle@themcclellandhouse.com to confirm departure.


PARKING


McClelland House offers limited on-site parking on a first come, first served basis. We also offer
an electric vehicle charging station. Please call or text +1 (707) 256 5969 to inquire about
reserving a parking spot. There is typically ample overnight street parking directly outside of the
property. Our staff can also recommend nearby covered parking options should this be
preferred.


FACE COVERINGS + TEMPERATURE CHECKS


In accordance with current state and local guidelines, all McClelland House guests are required
to wear a face covering and practice social distancing in indoor public areas on the property.
Face coverings are required at check in. In an effort to ensure the safety of guests and staff,
we will perform temperature checks of all new guests at check in. Complimentary masks and
hand sanitizer can be found at the front entrance of the hotel.


COVID-19 SCREENING


McClelland House is committed to the health and safety of our guests and staff. All guests
agree to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms before arriving for their reservation. Please
contact +1 (707) 256 5969 if you experience COVID-19 symptoms leading up to your stay, or if
you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
We will work with you to amend your travel schedule. COVID-19 symptoms include, but are not
limited to, a loss of taste or smell, fever, chills, shortness of breath, body aches, nausea, or sore
throat.

GENERAL INFORMATION


BREAKFAST: 8:00am - 10:00am


Breakfast is served in the main dining room or outdoor patio between 8:00am - 10:00am and
includes a complimentary mimosa for all guests 21+ (please be prepared to show identification).
Breakfast in bed and to-go breakfasts are available upon request with 24 hours notice. Please
contact giselle@themcclellandhouse.com to request breakfast in bed during your stay. If you will
not require breakfast on a given day of your stay, we appreciate it if you notify us via text or
phone +1 (707) 256 5969.


HAPPY HOUR: 5:00pm - 6:00pm

A complimentary wine and cheese happy hour is hosted every evening from 5-6pm. Happy
Hour is typically served out of the front porch (weather permitting), or in the bar located to the
left of the kitchen during colder months. Guests will receive a dedicated cheese plate for their
party. If you are unable to attend happy hour, we appreciate it if you notify us via text or phone
at +1 (707) 256 5969.


SMOKING


McClelland House is a non-smoking property. This includes traditional smoking methods and all
electronic delivery systems, such as e-cigarettes and vape pens. Smoking in guest rooms,
public areas, or within 20 feet of the property will result in an additional $300 cleaning fee.


INNKEEPER


An innkeeper is available 24 hours a day should you need assistance. Please contact +1 (707)
256 5969. We ask that guests refrain from contacting the innkeeper via phone outside of
standard business hours (9am - 5pm) except in case of emergencies. Non-urgent requests can
be made anytime by email (giselle@themcclellandhouse.com).


SECURITY


All guests receive a personalized code to enter and exit the property, and to access their room.
Security cameras are positioned throughout the property's public areas. A safe is provided for
guests to store valuables. We are not responsible for personal items left in guest rooms or
personal vehicles.


ADA ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES


In accordance with the American Disabilities Act, McClelland House has been retrofitted as
much as possible to provide an inclusive experience to all guests, including those with vision,
hearing, and physical disabilities. ADA features of our property include accessible parking,
accessible routes for wheelchair and motorized devices, a passenger elevator, and signage for
vision-impaired guests. Our Library Suite is wheelchair accessible, and the property includes

ENHANCED CLEANING + COVID-19 PROTOCOLS


Our staff at McClelland House is committed to providing you with an exceptionally clean and
safe environment. We have implemented enhanced cleaning protocols to combat the spread of
COVID-19. Common area and high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly with hospital-grade
disinfectant. Rooms are cleaned and sanitized each day, and guests may request reduced
housekeeping service if minimized contact is desired. Hotel staff are required to wear masks in
all indoor common areas, and have been trained in proper COVID-19 disinfectant protocols.
Hand sanitizer stations have been added around the hotel for your convenience. Seating for
indoor dining has been arranged in compliance with social distancing protocols, and outdoor

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY


While we understand that accidents happen, all McClelland House guests agree to be held
financially responsible for any excessive damage caused by gross negligence.


WEDDING + EVENTS


The McClelland House is available for whole-hotel buyouts and offers an outdoor event space
that can accommodate up to 60 guests. Please contact us directly at +1 (707) 256 5969 to
inquire about hosting weddings or events on the property.
